It's our birthday and we'd sing...

...if Warner/Chappell didn’t own the rights.

Okay so Mad Ink’s age can be measured in many forms. When I was about 13 I had a friend who used to constantly remind me that I was nobody’s worst nightmare. I in turn assured him that I was at the very least everybody’s Mildy Annoying Daydream. We decided to incorporate (in our hearts at least) and so the earliest form of MAD Inc, was born. As time scampered on, Mad Inc went through many versions from “Movies Are Dreams” incorporated to the Current “Mad Ink, Inc” and here we are.

As far as the US government is concerned Mad Ink, Inc has existed for one and a half years. We have been paying corporate taxes since January 2009. City of Fever was our first product, and we launched it at MoCCA Fest in June last year, so really, when you get down to it, October really is nowhere near Mad Ink’s birthday.

But And Chris, was actually launched a year ago, at Wizard world New York, and the original NYCC back in February last year was where I showcased the first of City of Fever and got Mike Carey to agree to put his name on the back of my book.

So look out NYCC, you are now officially our birthday!

We’re coming up on the 50th strip of …And Chris, and we are finally (almost) fully functional! we have over 500 people visiting the site on a regular basis.

I’ll have been working with Banu for almost four years now (dear god it has been that long, hasn’t it?) and Aodhan for over one.

And I’ll tell you what. Anyone who comes up to my booth at NYCC and wishes us a happy birthday, I’ll give a free tarot card print or Rast poster.

We’ll be at booth 2423, see you all there!
