Wave City was built on the blood and sweat of crooks and thieves. It's run by the greedy, the soulless, and the bored. It's a constant battle for political and economic control. So when Bobby "The Shrimp" Bulette wanted a private eye, he called Rast. A private eye isn't supposed to think. He is just supposed to do the job like a good little pawn.
Personally I thought that the cover art for the book was so outstanding that it was a shame not to make a poster out of it. On the cover of the book we’ve cropped in on the figure, here you get to see a lot more of the original oil painting.
I had this idea back in June, after seeing how well received the book was. Halfway though writing City of Fever I began to map out the city, the history of the districts, why and how they got their shapes and names. I started drawing out the map for my own research, got Banu involved, and 5 months later he brings me one of the best map posters I’ve ever seen, and I get to take credit for it!
